Check it out guys.. I just surft at one of my fave website and I found this pic. guess what? It is a Lancer Evo X prototype. According to that article, since the Evo IX had been luncedh in Malaysia, Mitsubishi has already done some prototype for Evo X.Well, it is a radical design rite? Since then, the Mitsubishi need some different model than evo VIII. The design look clean and nice. The headlight merely look like Skyline. The bumper has been re-engineered so that it looks more sporty ang 'evil'. The whole body also evolved. I believe that they use a Lancer GSR Model 2004 to make this Evo. The spoiler look fancy but and I'm very impressed about the spoiler because it is redesign by RallyArt and has been awarded for a such credit because of the effiency of the spoiler and the design itself has been trough alot of RnD.
Hurm, the heart of the Evo X has been classified because of the prototype of the Evo X has not been into a final release yet. I believe that the engine are totally different than its predecessor. Hopefully. We know the engine performance will be same as before (not approaching more than 300bhp) because of some Japan's regulation for production of a supercar like Evo.
For those has followed the time-line production of Evo, hopefully this car will be released as soon as possible. We believed taht it will release on quater of 2006. Well, the price? Of course it will be cost more than RM200k. ;-)
I had been followed al ot of this kind if Evo prototype but, latest I heard from my friends and reading some international mags, the evo series will be end this year. This is means that probably the Evo X will not be a reality since that the Misubishi has decided to use a Colt series for production in a 2006 series for WRC. Great huh? I heard that for the next season of 'Evo' will be replace by Mitsibishi Colt WRC. Ok guys, whip your teasr with a tissue paper becoz it is time for Evo to say goodbye and say hello to Colt WRC.....
